Abuse of painkiller includes increased headache or pain, which require more pain killer and thus body becomes addicted to the drug. Most of the painkillers are made up opoids and opoids are highly effective but highly addictive painkillers. So, body becomes addicted to the drug when it is taken excessively and this addiction causes a great harm to the body.

To make a painkiller following ingredients are required,
- Paracetamol
- Maize starch
- Sodium starch glycolate
- Sodium lauryl sulfate
- Magnesium stearate.
Take maize starch , sodium starch glycolate, sodium lauryl sulfate and providing in a container and mix them for 3 minutes.
Take paracetamol powder to it and mix for 2 minutes.
Take magnesium stearate in the mixer and blend for 2 minutes.
Take the granules to the , hopper of the unipress compression machine roll on.
Collect the tablets.

Painkillers relieve pain by 2 ways. One is to stop the pain signals and the other is to stop the cause of the pain. Most of the well known painkillers do their job by blocking pain signals before they reach to patients brain and make the feelings of pain. Painkiller is used to reduce several types of pain so, painkiller is administered when any sort of pain occurs. It is used in the treatment of headache, toothache, earache, back pain , post operative pain , post partum pain , post vaccination, asteoarthritic pain etc.
Pain can be controlled by means other than drug, it may include transcutareous electrical nerve stimulation (tens), acupuncture and massage , neurosurgery and newrolytic nerve block. Non-medical treatment such as physical therapy and regular exercise, psychological or social counseling , relaxation techniques may also form part of a pain control process.

Though painkillers are used on a purpose to reduce pain but sometimes people get addicted to it. In fact there are several risk of addiction if a painkiller is taken excessively. Because when a drug is used regularly the body becomes used to the drug. Then the dosage may need to be increased to maintain effectiveness. Generally , addiction occurs when drug are used in ways other than as prescribed by the physician.
